recommendations as a result of the AUDITOR's study and evaluation of the CITY's system of internal controls, legality of actions, other instances of noncompliance with laws and any other material matter, and review with CITY staff before issuing the final management letter. 1.4.5 Issue final reports and present findings to the City Council. 1.5 The AUDITOR shall direct all inquiries regarding the CITY's financial records to the CITY's representative. The AUDITOR shall schedule all interviews with CITY staff through the CITY's representative. This requirement is not to be a restriction on the AUDITOR in complying with AICPA professional standards or requirements of government auditing standards issued by the United States General Accounting Office. 1.6 ADDITIORAL SERVICES The services set forth hereinafter as Additional Services are not included as part of the services to be provided by the AUDITOR under Article 1. In the event that auditing services beyond that specified under Article 1 are necessary, the work shall be performed as Additional Services. Additional Services shall be provided only if authorized or confirmed in writing by CITY, and compensation shall be in addition to that specified for basic services, in accordance with Paragraph 4.1 of this Agreement. ARTICLE 2 THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES The CITY shall render services as follows: 2.1 Provide full information regarding the requirements of the Project. 2.2 Designate the CITY's Assistant Director of Finance as the CITY I S authorized representative with respect to this Agreement. 2.3 Furnish all required information, documents and services and render responses and conduct its review of written material in the CITY's possession relating to this Agreement as expeditiously as possible. 2.4 Provide location and filing sequence of information contained in all permanent records. 2.5 Furnish all legal counseling services as may be necessary at any time for the duration of this Agreement. -4-
