<br /> 129 <br /> PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT <br />STATE OF TEXAS (" <br /> \ "", <br /> 'Cj;-;. <br />COUNTY OF HAYS ~k <br /> <""-'1- <br /> ,.~~- <br />In agreement to work together towards the goals of reducing <br />alcohol and other drug related consequences, drug and alcohol use <br />and abuse among children, adolescents, and their adult role models, <br />drug related crimes, and workplace related abuse of alcohol and <br />drugs, the City of San Marcos agrees to work together with Drug <br />Free San Marcos (DFSM) as a partner with regard to the following: <br />1. That Southwest Texas State University shall serve as the <br /> fiscal agent for community partnership/coalition funds <br /> from Office of Substance Abuse Prevention and the united <br /> States Department of Education. <br />2. That the DFSM Steering Committee, which is representative <br /> of multiple systems in the community, shall serve as the <br /> governing entity of DFSM, approving activities which fall <br /> within the scope and objectives approved by funding <br /> sources. <br />3. That at least one representative from the City will <br /> actively serve on at least one DFSM committee. <br />4. That efforts will be made to ensure that programs and <br /> drug prevention activities of all partners will be <br /> culturally sensitive. <br />5. That the City will participate in identifying training <br /> needs within its own organization and in sharing <br /> information for a community wide needs assessment. <br />6.
