<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND
<br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM
<br /> LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO OFFICE PROFESSIONAL
<br /> FOR LOTS 4A and 8A, BLOCK 4, G.A. McNAUGHTON
<br /> ADDITION, A REPLAT OF LOTS 2A, 2B, 3A, 8 AND 9
<br /> AND A PORTION OF LOT 4, BLOCK 4 OF THE G.A.
<br /> McNAUGHTON ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 5,
<br /> PAGE 315 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS,
<br /> LOCATED AT 1008-1014 ACADEMY STREET AND 308-
<br /> 310 SESSOMS DRIVE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
<br /> DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on March 19, 1991, the Joint Planning and Zoning
<br /> Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing
<br /> regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master
<br /> Plan from Low Density Residential to Office Professional for Lots
<br /> 4A and 8A, Block 4, G.A. McNaughton Addition, a replat of Lots 2A,
<br /> 2B, 3A, 8 and 9 and a portion of Lot 4, Block 4 of the G.A.
<br /> McNaughton Addition to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas,
<br /> as recorded in Volume 5, Page 315, of the Hays County Deed Records,
<br /> located at 1008-1014 Academy Street and 308-310 Sessoms Drive; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the
<br /> Commissions did, on March 19, 1991, consider the request and voted
<br /> to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by
<br /> the City Council of the City; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the10thday
<br /> of August , 1992, regarding the request; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br /> amendments have been met; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br /> adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the
<br /> public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br /> located at 1008-1014 Academy Street and 308-310 Sessoms Drive,
<br /> San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the
<br /> Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as
<br /> Low Dens i ty Residential shall be shown on that map as Office
<br /> Professional:
<br /> LOTS 4A and 8A, BLOCK 4, G.A. McNAUGHTON ADDITION, A
<br /> REPLAT OF LOTS 2A, 2B, 3A, 8 AND 9 AND A PORTION OF LOT
<br /> 4, BLOCK 4 OF THE G.A. McNAUGHTON ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
<br /> SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 5,
<br /> PAGE 315 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS.
<br /> PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and
<br /> effect from and after its passage.
