<br /> SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC TARIFF SHEET <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL ELECTRIC SERVICE <br /> RATE SCHEDULE COG <br /> Effective <br /> <br /> DETERMINATION OF MONTHLY CHARGES (Cont.) <br /> <br /> Non-Coincident Peak Demand Charqe <br /> The monthly charge for customer's contribution to City's <br /> monthly IIDelivery Demand" charge included in the Purchase <br /> Power Bill for the current Billing Month will be calculated as <br /> follows: <br /> (a) The metered kW at customer delivery point during the same <br /> hour of the current Billing Month or previous Billing <br /> Month used by LCRA to determine the IIDelivery Demand <br /> unitsll or "Minimum Bill unitsll used to calculate the <br /> IIDelivery Demand Amountll will be multiplied by 1. 01. <br /> (b) The IIAmountll for IIDelivery Demandll or IIMinimum Billll set <br /> fort~ in the Purchase Power Bill will be divided by the <br /> kW "units" used to calculate the "Delivery Demand Amountll <br /> or the "Minimum Bill Amount" per kW applicable to <br /> customer's service requirements. <br /> (c) The kW calculated pursuant to (a) above will be <br /> multiplied by the unit charge calculated pursuant to (b) <br /> above to arrive at the customer's monthly Non-Coincident <br /> Demand Charge. <br /> other Purchased Power Costs <br /> The monthly charge for customer's contribution to City's <br /> monthly costs included in the Purchase Power Bill for the <br /> current Billing Month that are not otherwise included above <br /> will be multiplied by 1. 01 to arrive at customer's other <br /> Purchased Power Costs for that Billing Month. <br /> POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT <br /> The monthly metered kW demand may be adjusted to an equivalent <br /> 90% power factor for determining the customer's kW demand when the <br /> power factor at any point of delivery to the customer is determined <br /> to be less than 90% lagging. <br /> 5 <br />
