<br />169 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1992- 95 R <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, NOMINATING <br />CANDIDATE(S) AND SEEKING THE <br />RECOMMENDATION BY THE TEXAS MUNICIPAL <br />LEAGUE FOR APPOINTMENT TO NATIONAL LEAGUE <br />OF CITIES COMMITTEES, AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the interest and welfare of the <br />ci tizens of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to have direct <br />representation before the National League of Cities through <br />the membership by a City Council Member(s) on various <br />committees of the National League of Cities: now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the following City Council Member(s) is <br />(are) hereby nominated as candidate(s) for appointment to the <br />following respective committee ( s) of the National League of <br />Cities: <br /> <br />Candidate Committee <br /> <br />Betty Kissler Human Development Steering Committee <br /> <br />Rick Hernandez Energy, Environmental and Natural <br />Resources Steering Committee <br /> <br />Kathy M. Morris Finance Administration Intergovern- <br />ment Relations Steering Committee <br /> <br />Billy Moore Community and Economic Development <br />Policy Committee <br /> <br />PART 2. That the recommendation of the above-named <br />candidate(s) by the Texas Municipal League for appointment to <br />various National League of Cities committees is hereby <br />sought. <br /> <br />PART 3. That a copy of this Resolution shall be <br />forwarded to the Texas Municipal League in order that it be <br />received on or before September 23, 1992. <br /> <br />PART 3.
