<br /> 183 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1992 - lO3R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS ACCEPTING A GRANT OFFER <br /> FROM THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR <br /> PROJECT NO. 3-48-Ø195-Ø9 AT THE SAN MARCOS <br /> MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF THE GRANT AGREEMENT~ AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on August 11, 1992 the City applied for federal <br /> assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration (IIFAAII) <br /> for certain projects to be completed at the San Harcos <br /> Municipal Airport~ and, <br /> '\^lHEREAS, on August 14, 1992 the City received <br /> notification from the FAA that funding has been awarded to <br /> the City for Project No. 3-48-Ø195-Ø9, contingent on the <br /> City's acceptance of the grant offer~ now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART L That the City accepts the grant offer from the <br /> FAA for Project No. 3-48-Ø195-Ø9 for the construction of <br /> certain projects at the San Marcos Municipal Airport. <br /> PART 2. That the Grant Agreement between the City and <br /> the FAA for project no. 3-48-Ø195-Ø9, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, is <br /> hereby approved. <br /> PART 3. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, be and <br /> he is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of <br /> the City. <br /> PART 4.
