<br /> A GENHRAL.
<br /> 1. These assurances shall be complied with in the peñonnance of grant agreements for airport dCYt:lopment, airport planning,
<br /> and noise compatibility program grants to airport sponsors.
<br /> 2. These assurances are required to be submitted as part of the project application by sponsors requC5ting funds under the
<br /> provisions of the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982, as amended by the Airport and Airway Safety and Capacity
<br /> Expansion Act of 1987, or the Aviation Safety and Noise Abatement Act of 1979. As used herein, the tenD public agency
<br /> sponsor means a public agency with control of a public-use airport; the tenD private sponsor owner of a public.use airport;
<br /> and the tenD sponsor include5 public sponsors and private sponsors.
<br /> 3. Upon acceptance of the grant offer by the sponsor. these assurances are incorporated in and become part of the grant
<br /> agreement.
<br /> B. DURATION AND APPUCABIllTY.
