l25 Regular Meeting February l4, 1983 Page 7 Reverend Sam Montoya then made a presentation as Chairman of the San Marcos Area Food Bank. He wanted the Council to be aware of their existence and ask for the support of the community. They are trying to coordinate with organizations in the community to help the needy. They are in need of floor space for storage, money and volunteers to help run the program. Mr. Farr moved the Council adjourn to Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, §2(e), V.A.C.S., to discuss settlement offer in pending litigation - Sta~e of Texas, on behalf of the Board of Re- gents of the Texas State University System vs. The City of San Mar- cos, Texas, and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unani- mously (9:55 p.m.). Mr. Kreczmer moved the Council convene at 10:32 p.m. and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration direction to the City At- torney concerning settlement of the above-captioned lawsuit. Mrs. Norris moved that a final judgment be prepared to be considered by the City Council at an Emergency Meeting to be held Thursday, Febru- ary 17, 1983 at 11~00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
