RESOLUTION 2013 -67R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A LOCAL PROJECT ADVANCE <br />FUNDING AGREEMENT FOR VOLUNTARY LOCAL GOVERNMENT <br />CONTRIBUTIONS TO TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECTS BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />ACTING THROUGH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION FOR AESTHETIC IMPROVEMENTS <br />ASSOCIATED WITH THE STATE HIGHWAY 80 AND LOOP 82 AT <br />INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT; APPROVING THE CITY'S ESTIMATED CONTRIBUTION <br />OF $1399206.00 IN LOCAL PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br />EXECUTE THIS ADVANCE FUNDING AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Local Project Advance Funding Agreement for Voluntary <br />Local Government Contributions to Transportation Improvement Projects between the City and <br />the State of Texas acting through the Texas Department of Transportation (the "State "), Project <br />Number: CSJ 0016 -09 -037 and 0286 -1 -053 for aesthetic improvements associated with the State <br />Highway 80 and Loop 82 at Interstate Highway 35 Intersection Improvement Project is approved. <br />PART 2. The City's estimated contribution of $139,206.00 in local participation in <br />the Project is approved. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the Agreement <br />on behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
