Design computations will be checked using typical aggregate properties. The mixes will be hatched in the laboratory and 6 confirmation cylinders/beams will be cast from each mix for compression testing. Test results will be submitted as ; I at'e available. I Concrete testing will include sampling plastic concrete, measuring I slump and air (if required), recording ambient and mix temperatures, ¡ and casting cy1inders for compressive testing. Test cylinders will be i cast at the rate of one set of 4 cylinders per 50 cubic yards of I concrete placed. Cylinders will then be picked up and tra~sported to our laboratory where they will be cured under standard laboratory II conditions and tested at 7 and 28 days. Strengths that do not meet project specifications will be verbally reported.
