In the event a <br />serviceman is dispatched outside of normal business hours the <br />charge will be doubled. <br /> RETURNED CHECK OR BANK DRAFT CHARGE <br /> The charge shall be made for each check or bank draft <br />returned without payment because of insufficient funds, account <br />closed or no account. <br /> METER TEST CHARGE <br /> ~ <br /> The charge shall apply when the test is made at the <br />customer's request. In the event that the meter has been tested <br />at the customer's request within the previous two (2) years and <br />the meter is found to be within the accuracy standards established <br />by the American National Standards Institute, then the charge <br />shall apply. <br /> THEFT OF SERVICE <br /> The Minimum Charge will be made for any incidence of <br />tampering with the meter installatiqn, interference with the <br />proper working thereof, any theft of service by any person on <br />Customer's premises, or evidence of such tampering, interfering, <br />or theft (energy diversion). The Minimum Charge shall be imposed <br />for the detection and confirmation of energy diversion. <br /> In addition, the Customer shall pay the reconnect charge, the <br />expenses of damage to or replacement of the City's equipment and <br />the estimated cost of power and energy not recorded on meter by <br />reason of energy diversion at the applicable rate using the city's <br />best estimated data. <br /> 34 <br />
