REQUIREMENTS TO TAKE, SERVICE - The customer shall þe <br /> ,,~ obligated to take service within 30 days after it is made <br /> available. If after this period of time the customer fails <br /> to take service, the ci ty may impose the minimum monthly <br /> charge under the appropriate rate schedule for the next month <br /> and each month thereafter until service is taken. <br /> X. LINE RELOCATIONS - 4t the ~ole option of the City, lines and <br /> other facilities of the city may be relocated at the request <br /> of a property owner only if all of the following conditions <br /> are met: <br /> A. Service to other customers, both present and <br /> prospective, will not be adversely affected. <br /> - <br /> B. Easements on the City's standard form qovering <br /> rights-of-way for the relocated lines or other <br /> facilities are granted to the City. ~ <br /> C. The party requesting the relocation agrees to pay the <br /> city the actual cost of removing the existing lines and <br /> facilities and installing lines and facilities in the <br /> new location, and advances the City the estimated cost <br /> of said removal and installation. <br /> XI. FLOOD ZONE AREA RESTRICTIONS - In areas where the city <br /> provides electric service in the vicinity of lakes and <br /> streams the City will not extend overhead service below the <br /> maximum pool level of the la'kes, or in the flood plain of <br /> streams. <br /> XII. UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC SERVICE EXTENSION - Underground electric <br /> primary and secondary lines to service premises may be <br /> provided .subj ect to the stipulation that the applicant <br /> executes a special underground agreement with the City and <br /> agrees to bear all the additional expense in ex'cess of the <br /> cost of the standard overhead extension normally provided. <br /> Where a Developer requests the City to do so, the City may in <br /> accordance with special agreement for such situations and at <br /> its option provide for installation of underground electric <br /> facilities. (See Appendix G) <br /> XIII. EXTENSION POLICY CHANGES - The foregoing policy is subject to <br /> change at any time by action of the Electric System Board of <br /> the city without prior notice being given. <br />! -56- <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />
