<br /> 85 <br /> RESOLUTION 1991- 20 R <br /> - <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> ~1ARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICE INDUSTRIES, INC. FOR TESTING <br /> AND INSPECTION SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br /> RECONSTRUCTION OF RUNWAY 8-26 PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY HANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> ~vHEREAS, on October 23, 199Ø, the City of San <br />Marcos entered into contracts with Hunter Industries, Inc. <br />and Pecan Valley Electric Company, Inc. for the <br />Reconstruction of Runway 8-26 at the San Marcos Municipal <br />Airport; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City's consultant on the Runway 8-26 <br />Project has recommended that the City engage Professional <br />Service Industries, Inc. (P.S.I.) for the provision of the <br />necessary construction materials testing and inspection <br />serVlces; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an <br />agreement with P.S.I.~ now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of an <br />agreement between P.S.I. and the City for the provision of <br />construction materials testing and inspection services in <br />connection with the Reconstruction of Runway 8-26, a copy of <br />wh i c h is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />intents and purposes are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, <br />is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of <br />the City of San Marcos. <br /> PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full <br />force and effect from and after its passage. <br /> ADOPTED this 11th , 1991 <br /> Ms'~ <br /> Mayor <br />
