BAKER JR. <br /> Senior Engineer <br /> Diversified Utility Consultants, Inc. <br /> B.S. in Electrical Engineering, University of Texas <br /> M.B.A., University of Dallas <br /> Prior to joining Diversified Utility Consultants, Inc., Mr. Baker had been employed <br /> in various sectors of the electric utifity industry. Mr. Baker has been employed as a <br /> System Planning Engineer with the largest river authority in Texas engaged in the <br /> generation and transmission of electrical power, as an Electrical Engineer and Technical <br /> Services Consultant with the largest investor-owned electric utility in Texas, and as a <br /> Supervising Engineer with a national engineering and consulting firm. He is a registered <br /> professional engineer in the state of Texas. <br /> Mr. Baker has over fourteen years experience in electrical utility planning, <br /> economic and technical feasibility analysis, proiect management, and utility computer <br /> applications. Specifically, he has co-authored consulting engineer's reports for bond <br /> financing of electrical generating plants, developed utility financial forecasts, performed <br /> power supply studies, conducted and directed long range system resource plans and <br /> capital construction budgets, performed cost-benefit analysis of demand-side <br /> management programs, performed management audits, served as project engineer on <br /> several large distribution construction projects, written several engineering analysis <br /> programs, and tested and implemented a major computer software system. <br /> Since joining Diversified Utility Consultants, Inc., Mr. Baker has submitted <br /> testimony and assisted in the preparation of testimony in contested rate cases. He has <br /> analyzed and evaluated coal, lignite, fuel oil and natural gas inventory requirements and <br /> determined alternative inventory levels. He has also analyzed cost of service studies, <br /> reviewed electrical distribution loss studies and performed an economic feasibility study <br /> related to the acquisition of an electric utility system. <br />
