<br /> 133 <br /> AGREEMENT FOR MUTUAL AID IN FIRE PROTECTION <br /> STATE OF TEXAS <br /> KNOW ALL PERSONS BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> COUNTIES OF HAYS AND COMAL <br /> This Agreement, made and entered into this the25th day of <br /> March , 1991 , between the City of San Marcos, Texas, a <br /> Texas municipal corporation and The City of New Braunfels, Texas, <br /> a Texas municipal corporation, on the following terms and <br /> conditions. <br /> I. <br /> The purpose of this Agreement is to secure to the City of San <br /> Marcos, Texas, and The City of New Braunfels, Texas, the benefits <br /> of mutual aid in fire department services, including fire <br /> prevention, fire suppression, hazardous material response; special <br /> rescue of endangered persons and arson investigations. <br /> II. <br /> Upon request to a representative of the San Marcos Fire <br /> Department by a representative of the New Braunfels Fire <br /> Department, equipment and personnel of the San Marcos Fire <br /> Department will be dispatched to any point within the area for <br /> which the New Braunfels Fire Department normally provides fire <br /> department services as designated by the representative of the New <br /> Braunfels Fire Department. <br /> III. <br /> Upon request to a representative of the New Braunfels Fire <br /> Department by a representative of the San Marcos Fire Department, <br />
