Since we performed <br /> a similar evaluation in 1986, this should be a relatively simple update <br /> and expansion of previously gathered data. <br /> We proposed to bring an architect, a civil engineer, an electrical engi- <br /> neer, and an HVAC technician to San Marcos for a one day intensive inspec- <br /> tion of the building. We will then write a report evaluating the present <br /> condition of the facility and will recommend a remedy for any observed <br /> problems. This will also include an opinion of probable cost for these <br /> remedies. <br /> We believe the evaluation can be completed within two weeks of our <br /> authorization to proceed. <br /> Our fee for this work would be based on ,the following level of effort: <br /> Arch itect: 3 days @ $650/day $1,950 <br /> Senior Civil Engineer: 2 days @ $650/day 1,300 <br /> Electrical Engineer: 2 days @ $650/day 1,300 <br /> HVAC Technician: 2 days @ $525/day 1,050 <br /> Typing: 1 day @ $325/day 325 <br /> Expenses: Actual cost times 1.15 (estimated) 850 <br /> Total $6,775 <br /> A presentation of our findings and recommendations can be provided at the <br /> Cityls option at additional cost. <br />
