<br /> Dr. Lewis Gilcrease is a distinguished alumnus, a local dentist, and a community <br /> leader. He is also an active supporter of the university and a past president of <br /> the Alumni Association. Dr. Gilcrease is currently serving on the Board of <br /> Directors for the Alumni Association. <br /> Mr. Debs B. Hensley is currently retired from the Post Office Department where <br /> he served as the Director of Personnel and Labor Relations for the San Francisco <br /> Postal Region. He is a Southwest Texas State University alumnus and past <br /> president of the Alumni Association. He has served as a trustee of the <br /> Southwest Texas State University Support Foundation since its organization in <br /> 1972. <br /> Mr. Abe Houston, Southwest Texas State University alumnus (B.S., 1934 and M.A., <br /> 1942) is a retired Director of Personnel for the City of Waco. Mr. Houston has <br /> been a Support Foundation Trustee since 1980. He has been active in the <br /> Southwest Texas State University Alumni Association, having served as a past <br /> president and organizer of the Heart of Texas Chapter. Mr. Houston has been a <br /> long time supporter of the university. <br /> Dr. Martin O. Juel will serve through August, 1994. He is a retired Southwest <br /> Texas State University faculty member and administrator. He served as Health <br /> Coordinator, Dean of Students, and Chairman of the Education Department, as well <br /> as Professor of Education and Health Education. Dr. Juel received the Walter <br /> Richter Humanitarian Award. Dr. Juel currently serves in leadership roles in <br /> numerous community service activities. <br /> Mr. Jerry L. Moore is a local insurance agent for Southwestern Life. He is also <br /> a Southwest Texas State University distinguished alumnus. <br /> Mr. J. C. Reagan is a retired attorney residing in New Braunfels, Texas. He is <br /> past president of the Bobcat Club and is also a Southwest Texas State University <br /> alumnus. <br /> Mr. J. R. Thornton served as chairman of the Board of Directors for State Bank <br /> and Trust Company of San Marcos. He has been very generous in his financial <br /> support of Southwest Texas State University. He has also served as a trustee of <br /> the Southwest Texas State University Support Foundation since its organization <br /> of 1972 <br /> Dr. Sylvester Walleck is the Assistant Superintendent for Business and Related <br /> Services for Calhoun County Independent School District, Port Lavaca, Texas. He <br /> is also a Southwest Texas State University alumnus. <br /> Mr. McBride Wilson, Jr., a certified public accountant and an alumnus of <br /> Southwest Texas State University, has his own accounting firm in San Marcos. He <br /> has been a Support Foundation trustee since 1980, serving as secretary and is <br /> presently vice-chairman. Mr. Wilson also participates in business and community <br /> service activities. <br /> Mr. Ted J. Marek is the Vice President for Finance and Management for Southwest <br /> Texas State University.
