<br /> 76 <br /> Contract Number 580TLF6127 <br /> Amendment Number 2 <br /> AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT <br /> Traffic Light Synchronization Program <br /> THE STATE OF TEXAS ** <br /> THE COUNTY OF TRA VI S * * <br /> THIS AMENDMENT IS MADE BY and between the State Department of Highways <br /> and Public Transportation, hereinafter called the State and the City of <br /> San Marcos, hereinafter called the Local Government, and becomes <br /> effective when fully executed by both parties. <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> The State and the Local Government executed a contract on January 22, <br /> 1990 to effectuate their agreement authorizing a traffic light <br /> synchronization project under the Traffic Light Synchronization Program <br /> and authorized under the Oil Overcharge Restitutionary Act <br /> (Art. 4413 ( 56) ); and, <br /> Article I of the contract specifies that the contract becomes effective <br /> on the date on which the final signature is added, the final signature <br /> being that of the party whose signing makes the contract fully executed <br /> by all parties hereto. The contract shall terminate May 22, 1991, <br /> unless the contract is terminated or otherwise modified as hereinafter <br /> provided. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, premises considered, the State and the Local Government <br /> agree that the contract is amended as follows. <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> Article 1, Contract Period, is amended to read as follows: <br /> Article 1 of the contract specifies that the contract becomes effective <br /> on the date on which the final signature is added, the final signature <br /> being that of the party whose signing makes the contract fully executed <br /> by all parties hereto. The contract shall terminate August 30, 1991, <br /> unless the contract is terminated or otherwise modified as hereinafter <br /> provided. <br /> 1 <br />
