90 Regular Meeting May 9, 1983 Page 6 Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of a Resolu- tion, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC. CONSULTING ENGINEERS, FOR ENGINEER- ING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH PREPARATION OF A WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM ANALYSIS FOR SAID CITY; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT TO FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,169.00 AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of a tax refund in the amount of $3,952.13 to Gibsons Discount Center, c/o Mrs. Avalon Burrows, due to overpayment. Mr. Moore moved to approve the refund in order to get it on the table for discussion and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. Mr. Moore asked that an explanation be furnished for the CAD's rationale for the change. Mr. Moore then moved the matter be tabled for a better explanation and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Guerra moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, §2 (f), V.A.C.S., for discussion of acquisition of property and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (9: 03 p.m.). Mr. Brown moved the Council convene at 9:47 p.m. and Mr. Guerra second- ed the motion, which passed unanimously.
