Only public schools and cay care facilities are <br /> rated more highly by Anglos than by Hispanics. <br /> <br /> CITY APPEARANCE AND QUALITY OF LIFE ISSUES <br /> The survey asked respondents to indicate their overall <br /> ratings of the appearance of San Marcos as well as their <br /> neighborhoods, and also to evaluate the quality of life in <br /> San Marcos as well as the performance of city government. <br /> Responses are shown in Table 4. <br /> [See Table 4] <br /> citizens give very high ratings to the overall <br /> appearance of San Marcos and to the "quality of life" in San <br /> Marcos in general.
