-2- (7) Public areas and common areas of places of employment; and (8) Theaters. (B) All enclosed indoor areas of the following which have not been designated as smoking areas under Sec. 16-72: (1) Private offices in buildings under the control of the city, a county, or other governmental agency; (2) Private offices in primary and secondary school buildings; (3) Office, warehouse and storage areas in grocery stores and other retail stores; (4) Areas of places of emploYment that are not open to the public; (5) Bowling centers; (6) Private recreational facilities, such as pool halls and amusement machine room rooms; (7) Restaurants; (8) Bars, the major business of which is not on-premises sales and consumption of alcoholic beverages; and, (9) Guest rooms in hotels and motels. (2) "Common area" means an area such as a hallway, employee lounge or lunchroom, or restroom to which more than one employee has common access; it includes work or office areas shared by two or more employees. (3) "Employee" means any person who is employed by an employer in consideration for monetary compensation or profit. (4) "Employer" means any person, partnership, corporation, association or other entity, that employs one or more persons. (5) "Place of emploYment" means any enclosed indoor area under the control of an employer to which one or more employees have access during the course of emploYment. (6) "Public area" means areas such as lobbies, reception areas, retail merchandise display areas, restrooms and meeting rooms where members of the public are commonly present. (7) "Service Line" means any indoor line at which one or more persons are waiting for or receiving service of any kind, whether or not such service involves the exchange of money. (8) "Smoke", "Smokes" or "Smoking" includes the carrying or holding of a lighted pipe, cigar or cigarette of any kind, or any other lighted
