The City plans to continue development of current <br />programs and to implement additional programs as needed, with a goal of reducing per capita <br />usage by 10% to 123 gallons per person per day by 2045 (Figure 4). The five and ten year goals <br />are to reduce to 133 gpcd by 2010 and to 131 gpcd by 2015. <br />In order to reach these goals the City will employ a variety of water conservation <br />measures including: <br />. Maintain unaccounted water usage at or below 15%; <br />. Continue ten year meter replacement program; <br />. Continue annual meter testing and replacement program for large meters; <br />. Continue four year system-wide leak detection program; <br />. Adopt and implement seasonal water rates for high water users; <br />. Expand public information and school education programs; <br />. Acquire additional water conservation staff as needed; <br /> <br />5 <br />
