<br />(2) All other non-essential water use is prohibited. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Section 86.062. Stage 3 water use allowances and restrictions. <br /> <br />The following measures are in effect for any period when stage 3 of the drought <br />response plan is in effect: <br /> <br />(a) Waste of water is prohibited. <br /> <br />(b) Irrigation of existing landscapes with hose-end sprinklers and automatic sprinkler <br />irrigation systems is allowed only one day every other week beginning on the second <br />Monday after stage 3 has been declared, on the designated weekday between the hours <br />of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to midnight. <br /> <br />(c) Irrigation of new landscapes with hose-end sprinklers and automatic sprinkler <br />irrigation systems is allowed only one day every other week beginning on the second <br />Monday after stage 3 has been declared, on the designated weekday between the hours <br />of 6.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to midnight. However, if a person applies for a <br />new landscape permit and pays the permit fee set by the city council, the person may <br />irrigate a new landscape with hose-end sprinklers and automatic sprinkler irrigation <br />systems each day between the hours of 6.00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to <br />midnight for a period not to exceed 21 days. <br /> <br />(d) Irrigation with hand-held bucket, hand-held hose, soaker hose and drip irrigation <br />system is allowed only one day per week on the designated weekday between the hours I <br />of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p m. to midnight. <br /> <br />(e) Irrigation of golf courses, athletic fields and commercial nurseries is restricted as <br />follows. <br /> <br />(1) Irrigation of golf courses with sprinklers is allowed only one day every other <br />week beginning on the second Monday after stage 3 has been declared, on the <br />designated weekday between the hours of midnight to 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m to <br />midnight. <br /> <br />(2) Irrigation of athletic fields with sprinklers is allowed only one day every other <br />week beginning on the second Monday after stage 3 has been declared, on the <br />designated weekday between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to <br />midnight. <br /> <br />(3) Irrigation of plants in inventory at commercial nurseries is allowed on any day <br />between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />(f) Vehicle washing is restricted as follows. <br /> <br />(1) Charity car washes are prohibited unless held at a certified commercial car <br /> <br />wash. <br /> <br />(2) Non-commercial vehicle washing is prohibited. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />10 <br />
