said cement curb, a distance of 126 feet to a stake; THENCE North 45° East 3 feet to a stake; THENCE South 45° East a distance of 20.1 feet to a stake set in the most northwest line of a lot conveyed by Mrs. Pearl Pettit to J.O. Jones by deed dated November 17, 1941, of record in Book 123, at page 186 et seq., of the Hays County Deed Records (this stake being also set North 45° 38' east 62 feet from the east line of Nance Street; THENCE North 45° East along the most northwest line of said Jones lot a distance of 19.1 feet to a stake; THENCE South 45° East 1.2 feet to a stake set in the most northern line of said Jones lot; THENCE South 45° East along the most northern line of said Jones lot, a distance of 35.2 feet, to the most northern corner of said Jones lot, for the southeast corner of the tract here conveyed; THENCE North 45° West 147.3 feet to a stake set in the south line of San Antonio Street to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. If reconsidered on July 22, 1991 it shall be in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
