GENERAL CRITERIA FOR GRANT AWARDS <br /> A. Established libraries submitting applications must meet the <br />criteria established by the Texas State Library for membership in the <br />Texas Library System. <br /> B. Applicants proposing to initiate service with the new facility must <br />furnish certification that they will meet the criteria established by the <br />Texas State Library for membership in the Texas Library System when the <br />facility opens for service. <br /> C. If the proposed application is for the construction, purchase, an <br />addition to, or remodeling of a main library, the facility must meet the <br />minimum gross square footage requirements set forth in Wheeler and <br />Goldhor's Pr i I A mini ra i n f P bli Librarie, 1981.
