Marwick - 2- For the City's federal financial assistance programs: . A report on the supplementary schedule of the City's federal financial assistance programs; . A report on compliance with laws and regulations identifying all findings of noncompliance and questioned costs; . A report on internal conttols (accounting and administtative) used in administering federal financial assistance programs; and . A report on fraud, abuse, or an illegal act, or indications of such acts, if necessary. It should be understood that our audit may not reveal all errors, irregularities or illegal acts which may have occurred during the year. However, please be advised that it is our responsibility to ensure that the City Council is informed of any significant illegal acts that we become aware of during our audit. If the illegal act involves funds from other governmental entities, it is the Council's responsibility to infonn the other governmental entities of these acts. If the Council is involved in the illegal act or does not report to the other governmental entities on a timely basis, we will be obligated to report the illegal acts to these other governmental entities. Our fee for the engagement will be the same as last year, $48,400 including our out-of-pocket expenses. It is our practice to submit bills to you as the work progresses. Should changes in the scope of work or other situations arise which would cause us to exceed this estimate, we would discuss such matters with you before incurring additional time. * * * * * If this letter sets forth arrangements satisfactory with you, please sign and return to us the second copy of this letter.
