<br />- <br />~. 14 <br />~ <br />- <br /> <br />(';,1 <br />c' <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE 1991- 37 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTIONS 29-111 AND 29-1SØ <br />OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING A NO <br />PARKING TOW-AWAY ZONE ON PAT GARRISON STREET: <br />PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY: REPEALING ALL <br />CONFLICTING ORDINANCES: PROVIDING A PENALTY: <br />PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That Section 29-111 of the San Marcos Code <br />of Ordinances is amended to add the following portion of Pat <br />Garrison Street, codified in alphabetical order, upon which <br />parking shall be prohibited: <br /> <br />Pat Garrison Street, south side, a distance of 85 feet <br />east of Comanche Street to a point 6Ø feet from its <br />intersection with the west side of Fredricksburg Street. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. That Section 29-1SØ(c) of the San Marcos <br />Code of Ordinances is amended to add the following portion of <br />Pat Garrison Street, codified in alphabetical order, from <br />which illegally parked vehicles may be towed at the direction <br />of a police officer: <br /> <br />Pat Garrison Street, south side, a distance of 85 feet <br />east of Comanche Street to a point 6Ø feet from its <br />intersection with the west side of Fredricksburg Street. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. That if any wQrd, phrase, sentence, section, <br />or portion of this ordinances is found by a court of <br />competent jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or <br />unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions of <br />this ordinance shall remain in effect. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION S. That any person violating any provision of <br />this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and <br />upon conviction shall be fined in accordance with Section 1-5 <br />of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances. <br /> <br />SECTION 6.
