<br /> 16 <br /> RESOLUTION 1991- 93 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br /> AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND DIVERSIFIED UTILITY <br /> CONSULTANTS, INC.: AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY: AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on March 25, 1991, the City of San Marcos <br />approved an agreement with Diversified Utility Consultants, <br />Inc. for professional consulting services in connection with <br />the City's purchase of electric power from the Lower Colorado <br />River Authority: and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend this agreement to <br />increase the allowable compensation from $25,ØØØ.Øø to <br />$5Ø,ØØØ.ØØ: now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of Amendment <br />No. 1 to that agreement between the City and Diversified <br />utility Consultants, Inc. for professional consulting <br />services in connection with the City.s purchase of electric <br />power from the Lower Colorado Ri v er Authority and the <br />elimination of the voltage differential in the Authority's <br />wholesale electric rate to the City, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and <br />purposes, are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is <br />authorized to execute the amendment on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
