<br />- 32 <br />ÇJ <br />() <br />- <br />., <br />I"$"'\ <br /> ORDINANCE 1991-~ <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL <br /> ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING LOT 10, BLOCK <br /> 1 OF THE DAN MCKIE ADDITION NO. #1 TO THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME X, <br /> PAGE 547 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, <br /> LOCATED AT 743 GRAVEL STREET FROM "R-1" <br /> SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY) <br /> TO "M-R" MOBILE HOME AND RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on June 18, 1991, the Zoning commission of the City <br /> of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change <br /> the zoning from "R-1" Single-Family Dwelling District (Low Density) <br /> to "M-R" Mobile Home and Residential District for Lot 10, Block 1, <br /> of the Dan McKie Addition No. 1 as recorded in Volume X, Page 547 <br /> of the Hays County Deed Records. <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br /> Zoning Commission did, on June 18, 1991 consider the request and <br /> voted to approve it and has recommended that the request be <br /> approved by the City Council of the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 26th <br /> day of August , 1991, regarding the request; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning <br /> Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos <br /> pertaining to amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br /> adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the <br /> public health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as <br /> described in section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance is hereby <br /> amended to rezone the following described real property located at <br /> 743 Gravel Street in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is <br /> presently zoned "R-1" Single-family Dwelling District (Low Density) <br /> to "M-R" Mobile Home and Residential District: <br /> LOT 10, BLOCK 1, DAN MCKIE ADDITION NO. #1 TO THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS AS RECORDED IN VOLUME X, PAGE 547 OF THE HAYS <br /> COUNTY DEED RECORDS. <br /> SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) <br /> days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to <br /> reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting <br /> following its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote <br /> to reconsider it. If reconsidered on September 9, 1991t shall be <br /> in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if <br /> approved. It shall not go into effect 'of: denied. If not <br /> 1.... <br /> reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the <br /> City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of August , 1991, <br /> subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting <br /> scheduled for September 9, 1991. <br /> Reconsidered yes no X <br />
