<br /> (e) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates or <br />causes the violation of any restriction or prohibition on <br />the use of water or related activities contained in the <br />follo~ling descriptions or stages of Water Conservation <br />Orders shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon <br />conviction shall be punished by a fine in the respective <br />amounts shown for each description or stage. <br />STAGE 1 OR Not less than $25 nor more than $100. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />RESTRICTIONS <br /> STAGE 2 Not less than $50 nor more than $200. <br /> STAGE 3 Not less than $50 nor more than $500. <br /> STAGE 4 Not less than $100 nor more than $1,000. <br /> STAGE 5 Not less than $100 nor more than $2,000. <br />SECTION 2. That if any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or <br />paragraph of this ordinance is held to be unconstitutional or <br />invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining <br />provisions of this ordinance shall remain in effect as if the <br />unconstitutional or invalid portion had not been adopted. <br />SECTION 3. That all ordinances and resolution or parts of <br />ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repeal.ed. <br />SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) <br />days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a <br />newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the <br />Charter of the city of San Marcos, Texas. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading July 22, 1991. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on second reading August 12, 1991. <br />PASSED, APPROVED OPTED this 26th day of August <br />1991 .
