<br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> OUTDOOR AREA LIGHTING <br /> RATE SCHEDULE - OAL <br /> <br /> The City shall charge and collect for outdoor area lighting <br />service on the basis of the provisions of this Rate Schedule - <br />OAL. The Power Cost Adjustment Clause and Rules and Regulations <br />for Electric Service are incorporated by reference as a part of <br />this rate schedule. <br />AVAILABILITY <br /> This rate schedule is available throughout the entire service <br />territory served by the City of San Marcos where the City has <br />existing facilities available for the service covered by this rate <br />schedule. <br />APPLICABILITY <br /> This rate schedule is applicable to year-round outdoor <br />security lighting of areas not covered by any other rate <br />schedule. Lighting to be provided under this rate schedule shall <br />be at locations which are easily and economically accessible to <br />City equipment and personnel for construction and maintenance. <br />Lamps will be operated from dusk to dawn, or approximately 4,000 <br />hours per year per lamp, and controlled by photo-electric control. <br />CHARACTER OF SERVICE <br /> Service under this rate schedule shall be alternating cur- <br />rent, 60 Hertz, single phase, at City's option of standard <br />available voltages. Standby or resale service is not permitted <br />under this rate schedule. <br />MONTHLY RATE <br /> Mercury Vapor Lamp or Sodium Vapor Lamps <br /> 175 Watt, 7,900 Lumens................ $ 5.25 per Lamp <br /> Plus monthly Power Cost Adjustment Clause applicable to <br /> 70 kWh. <br /> The above rates will be adjusted plus or minus in accordance <br />with the formula specified in the Power Cost Adjustment Clause <br />applied to the kWh indicated for each type of lamp. The amount <br />computed at the "Monthly Rate" shall be subject to taxes, assess- <br />ments or surcharges imposed by any governmental authority which <br />are assessed on the basis of revenues from electric service or <br />volume of electricity purchased or sold by the City. <br /> - 14 - <br />
