<br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> STREET LIGHTING SERVICE <br /> AND <br /> TRAFFIC SIGNAL SERVICE <br /> RATE SCHEDULE - SL <br />MONTHLY RATE (continued) <br /> <br /> 400 Watt, 21,000 Lumens <br /> Energy Charge.......................$ 0.04020 per kWh <br /> Traffic Signals: <br /> Energy Charge.......................$ 0.03138 per kWh <br /> The above rate per kWh will be adjusted plus or minus in <br /> accordance with the formula specified in the Power Cost <br /> Adjustment Clause. <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> No monthly minimum charge is applicable at this time. <br />PAYMENT <br /> All bills shall be paid on or before the fifteenth (15) day <br />following issuance. Any and all amounts remaining unpaid after <br />the due date shall be assessed a charge in the amount of ten <br />percent (10%) of the unpaid amount. Payment from state agencies <br />must be received within thirty (30) days from receipt of bill, and <br />any unpaid amount will be subject to a 1% per month interest <br />charge, following the procedures set forth in the Prompt Payment <br />Act. <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> The City will furnish and operate all street lighting <br />facilities required for service under this rate schedule. Service <br />to locations where City-owned poles and facilities are not <br />available will be made at the discretion of the City and at an <br />additional charge to the Customer to cover the costs, including <br />appropriate overheads, of additional poles, conductors, other <br />facilities and increased maintenance expenses. <br /> The cost of maintaining and repairing any equipment necessary <br />for street lighting service under this rate schedule shall be <br />billed to the Customer at cost, including appropriate overheads. <br /> The City shall, at the request of the Customer, relocate or <br />change existing equipment and the Customer shall reimburse the <br /> - 22 - <br />
