<br /> 43 <br /> RESOLUTION 1991- 99 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br /> OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND <br /> WASTE MANAGEMENT OF TEXAS, INC. FOR THE PROVISION <br /> OF A RECYCLABLE MATERIALS COLLECTION SERVICE: <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br /> CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos wishes to engage <br />the services of Waste Management of Texas, Inc., through its <br />local operating division - Longhorn Community Disposal for <br />the provision of a recyclable materials collection service: <br />now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the terms and conditions of a <br />contract with Waste Management of Texas, Inc. for the <br />provision of a recyclable materials collection service, a <br />copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for <br />all intents and purposes, are hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. That the contract for recyclable services <br />between the City and Waste Management of Texas, Inc. approved <br />on July 22, 1991 by Resolution 1991-9ØR is hereby superceeded <br />and of no force and effect. <br /> PART 3. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, be <br />and he is hereby authorized to execute the contract on behalf <br />of the City. <br /> PART 4.
