Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Executive Committee. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomaides and a second by Council <br />Member Prather, the City Council voted five (5) for, one (1) abstained, Mayor Guerrero, one (1) <br />absent, Council Member Becak, and none (0) opposed, to approve the appointment of Mayor <br />Guerrero to the Hays County Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) Executive Committee. The <br />motion carried. <br />23.Discuss and consider an appointment to the Neighborhood Commission (Sector 7) and <br />an appointment to fill a vacancy on the Historic Preservation Commission, and provide <br />direction to Staff. <br />Following discussion the Council reached consensus to appoint Joseph McKenna to the <br />Neighborhood Commission and Michael O'Connor to the Historic Preservation Commission. <br />24.Hold discussion regarding proposed Land Development Code revisions adding waiting <br />periods for zoning change applications, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Following discussion the Council provided direction for Staff to move forward with the <br />presented language and present it to the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />25.Hold discussion regarding the Land Development Code, and provide direction to Staff. <br />Following discussion the Council reached consensus for Staff to include the following in their <br />review of the LDC: Multifamily "unit" definition, Public Art/Community Spaces, Fair <br />Housing/Affordable Housing, Community <br />Health, Central Business Area restaurant alcohol sales, Complete Streets, and Mobility. <br />26.Ouestion and Answer Session with Press and Public <br />None. <br />27.Adiournment <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member <br />Thomason, the City Council voted six (6) for, one (1) absent, Council Member Becak, and none <br />(0) opposed, to adjourn the regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council at 9:40 p.m. The <br />motion carried. <br />A T'rUQ'r. <br />C . <br />Da uerre yor <br />
