<br /> 69 <br />- <br />'" <br />~ <br />--- <br />C'" ORDINANCE 1991- <br />~ 52 <br /> <br />~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTIONS 29-111 AND 29-15Ø <br /> OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING A NO <br /> PARKING TOW-AWAY ZONE ON BOTH SIDES OF AL\J ALLEY <br /> EXTENDING FROM HOPKINS STREET TO UNIVERSITY DRIVE: <br /> PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY: REPEALING ALL <br /> CONFLICTING ORDINANCES: PROVIDING A PENALTY: <br /> PROVIDING FOR PUBLI CATION AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 29-111 of the San Marcos Code <br /> of Ordinances is amended to add the following alley, codi fied <br /> in al phabetic al order, upon which parking shall be <br /> prohibited: <br /> Alley in Blocks 2Ø and 24 of the Original Town of San <br /> Marcos, both sides, from Hopkins Street to University <br /> Drive. <br /> SECTION 2. That Section 29-15Ø(c) of the San Marcos <br /> Code of Ordinances is amended to add the following alley, <br /> codified in alphabetical order, from which illegally parked <br /> vehicles may be towed at the direction of a police officer: <br /> Alley in Blocks 2Ø and 24 of the Original Town of San <br /> Marcos, both sides, from Hopkins Street to University <br /> Drive. <br /> SECTION 3. That if any word, phrase, sentence, section, <br /> or portion of this ordinance is found by a court of competent <br /> jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or unenforceable for any <br /> reason, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall <br /> remain in effect. <br /> SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances <br /> in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 5. That any person violating any provision of <br /> this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and <br /> upon conviction shall be fined in accordance with Section 1-5 <br /> of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances. <br /> SECTION 6.
