<br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br />A tract of land being that part of the Job Corps site <br />located south of and adjacent to the aircraft apron of the <br />San Marcos Airport, Caldwell County, Texas. This tract is <br />more particularly described as follows: <br />Beginning at the end point of the twenty-fourth call of <br />the field notes of the 1303.055 acres tract conveyed by <br />the United States of America to the City of San Marcos by <br />that deed dated 14 February 1966, filed 18 February 1966, <br />and recorded 21 February 1966 in Volume 31, pages 463, et <br />sq. of the deed records of Caldwell County. This point, <br />which was found marked with a 1/2 inch diameter iron bar <br />(point 827), bears South 57 degrees 59 minutes 31 seconds <br />East a distance of 711.14 feet from the West Reference <br />Mark, and South 67 degrees 21 minutes 51 seconds West a <br />distance of 977.73 feet from the East Reference Mark. <br />Thence, from the point of beginning, South 89 degrees 58 <br />minutes 32 seconds East along the south line of the San <br />Marcos Airport and the north line of the Gary Job Corps <br />Center as described in the field notes of that 20.751 acre <br />tract reco:r;ded in Volume 376, pages 257, et sqq. a <br />distance of 787.45 feet to a 1/2 inch diameter iron bar <br />point 814) found in place; <br />Thence, North 00 degrees 04 minutes 44 seconds East along <br />an east line of the San Marcos Airport and a west line of <br />the Gary Job Corps Center as described in the field notes <br />of the said 20.751 acres tract a distance of 152.61 feet <br />to a 1/2 inch diameter iron' bar (point 815) found in <br />place; <br />Thence, South 89 degrees 56 minutes 08 seconds East along <br />a south line of the San Marcos Airport and a north line of <br />the Gary Job Corps Center as described in the field notes <br />of the said 20.751 acre tract a distance of 253.75 feet to <br />a 1/2 inch diameter iron bar (point 816) found in place; <br />Thence, North 00 degrees 04 minutes 46 seconds East along <br />an east line of the San Marcos Airport and a west line of <br />the Gary Job Corps Center as described in the field notes <br />of the said 20.751 acre tract a distance of 274.81 feet to <br />an "X" found chiselled in the concrete apron (point 817); <br />Thence, South 89 degrees 57 minutes 47 seconds East along <br />a south line of the San Marcos Airport and a north line of <br />the Gary Job Corps Center as described in the field notes <br />of the said 20.751 acre tract a distance of 1822.11 feet <br />to an "X" found chiselled in the concrete apron (point <br />818); <br />Thence, North 45 degrees 00 minutes 33 seconds East along <br />a southeast line of the San Marcos Airport and a northwest <br />line of the Gary Job Corps Center as described in the <br />field notes of the said 20.751 acre tract a distance of <br />135.02 feet to a point (point 824) on the twenty-seventh <br />call of the field notes in that said deed recorded in said <br />Volume 313, from which a nail hole and "X" found chiselled <br />in the concrete apron (point 819) bears South 45 degrees <br />00 minutes 33 seconds West a distance of 1. IS feet; <br />Thence, South 44 degrees 57 minutes 49 seconds East along <br />a portion of the said twenty-seventh call, which is a <br />southwest line of the San Marcos airport and a northeast <br />line of the Gary Job Corps Center a distance of 1533.56 <br />ft. to a 3/4 inch I.D. iron pipe set on the southeast line <br />of the concrete apron (point 820), from which a brass disk <br />reference monument (point 863) set in the concrete apron <br />bears North 00 degrees 03 minutes 03 seconds West a <br />
