Ordinance 2013 -30 motion to deny <br />on June 18, 2013 <br />Ordinance 2013 -30, related to the Casey Development- Sessom Drive Multi- Family <br />Project located at Sessom Drive and Loquat Street, contained within 9.587acres, <br />more or less, of land out of the Park Addition, First and Second Division and <br />consisting of a 7.885 acre development tract, being Lots 36 -39, 40 -44 and 50 -58 <br />and existing Public Rights -of -Way and a 1.702 acre open space tract, being Lots <br />59 -62, part of Lot 63 and an existing Public Alley: approving an amendment to the <br />Future Land Use Map of the City from "LDR" Low Density Residential to "MU" <br />Mixed Use for the7.885 acre development tract; amending the Official Zoning <br />Map of the City by rezoning said 7.885 acre tract from "SF -6" Single - Family <br />Residential District to "VMU" Vertical Mixed Use District; establishing a "PDD" <br />Planned Development Overlay District over the entire 9.587 acre tract; approving <br />Planned development District standards for the district. <br />Motion: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomaides and a second by <br />Council Member Porterfield, the City Council voted six (6) for and one (1) <br />opposed, Council Member Thomason, to deny Ordinance 2013 -39, as previously <br />captioned. Council also directed Staff that a PDD within the same parameters of <br />this project not be placed on a future agenda for a period of 3 years. The motion <br />carried. <br />
