III RESOLUTION NO. 1991- l18 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS NOMINATING A CANDIDATE FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HAYS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1992; DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO SUBMIT THE NAME OF THE NOMINEE TO THE CHIEF APPRAISER OF THE HAYS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the of City of San Marcos, Texas, is a taxing uni t entitled to nominate candidates for positions on the board of directors for the Hays County .Appraisal District; now, therefore, WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to nominate its candidate for a position on the board of directors for the Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning January 1, 1992, and, WHEREAS, Billy G. Moore fulfill(s) the eligibility requirements of Section 104c of the Texas Property Tax Code for nomination to a director position; now, therefore, BE IF RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That Billy G. Moore is hereby nominated as a candidate for a position on the board of directors for the Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning January 1, 1992. PART 2. That the ~1ayor of the City of San Marcos is hereby directed to submit, prior to October 15, 1991, the name of Billy G. Moore , to the Chief Appraiser for the Hays County Appraisal District, as the nominee of the City of San Marcos, Texas for a posi.tion on the board of directors of the Hays County Appraisal District for the period beginning January 1, 1992.
