• Provide support for new Engineering & CIP Director as needed <br />• Continue work on capital improvements process for 2013 -2014 fiscal year <br />• Provide oversight of projects, timelines and inspections for the Engineering & <br />CIP Department <br />• Any other special projects identified by the City Manager <br />Term of Agreement: <br />The term of this Agreement shall begin on July 1, 2013 and end on June 30, 2014. <br />Early Termination: <br />City reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at any time upon ten (10) days written notice <br />to Consultant. Upon receipt of notice of termination, Consultant shall immediately stop all work <br />hereunder and shall submit a final invoice within ten (10) days for work performed through the <br />termination date specified in the notice. <br />Compensation: <br />City agrees to pay Consultant a fee of $5,000 per month (not to exceed $60,000) for performing <br />the services described in the Scope of Work. <br />In addition to the fees specified above, City agrees to pay Consultant: a car allowance of $325 <br />per month; a telephone stipend of $75 per month; and lodging expenses not to exceed $150.00 <br />per night including taxes. The total of all reimbursable expenses during the term of this <br />agreement shall not exceed $7,500. <br />Payment shall be due within ten (10) days of receipt of Consultant's invoices. <br />Acceptance and Execution <br />Please indicate your acceptance of this agreement by signing duplicate originals, return one fully <br />executed original, and retain one for your files.
