<br /> 9 <br /> RESOLUTION 1991- 134R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> PERMANENT OPEN SPACE AND/OR FLOODPLAIN TO HIGH <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR APPROXIMATELY 8.52 <br /> ACRES OUT OF THE RIVER RUN SUBDIVISION <br /> OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, <br /> LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE 2200-2300 <br /> BLOCKS OF RIVER ROAD AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on July 16, 1991, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />commissions of the city of San Marcos held a public hearing <br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Master <br />Plan from Permanent Open Spaace and/or Floodplain to High Density <br />Residential for approximately 8.52 acres out of the River Run <br />Subdivision, of the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, located <br />on the East side of the 2200-2300 blocks of River Road; and, <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br />Commissions did, on July 16, 1991, consider the request and voted <br />to approve it and have recommended that the request be approved by <br />the City Council of the City; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 4thday <br />of November , 1991, regarding the request; and, <br /> WHEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the <br />public, health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> PART 1: That approximately 8.52 acres of land out of the <br />River Run Subdivision more particularly described in Exhibit "A" <br />which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, <br />located on the East Side of the 2200-2300 blocks of River Road, San <br />Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the <br />Future Land use Plan Map of the Master Plan of the City of San <br />Marcos as Permanent Open Space and/or Floodplain shall be shown on <br />that map as High Density Residential. <br /> PART 2.
