<br /> - 28 <br /> cr" <br /> ~ <br /> ~ <br /> - <br /> a- <br /> '- ORDINANCE 1991- 71 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 29-llØ OF THE SAN <br /> MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY THE ADDITION OF A STOP <br /> SIGN ON ALABAMA STREET AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH <br /> ELLIS: STREET PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY: REPEALING <br /> ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES: PROVIDING A PENALTY: <br /> PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. That Section 29-l1Ø of the San Marcos <br /> Code of Ordinances is amended to add the following <br /> intersection, codified in alphabetical order, upon which <br /> drivers shall stop at posted stop signs. <br /> Alabama Street and Ellis Street North-South <br /> SECTION 2. That if any word, phrase, sentence or <br /> section of this ordinance is found by a court of competent <br /> jurisdiction to be unconstitutional or unenforceable for any <br /> reason, the remaining provisions of this ordinance shall <br /> remain in effect. <br /> SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of <br /> ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 4. That any person violating any provision <br /> of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and <br /> upon conviction shall be fined in accordance with Section 1-5 <br /> of the San Marcos Code of Ordinances. <br /> SECTION 5.
