All terms and conditions contained in the Professional Services
Contract between the City of San Marcos and McCulley, Frick & Gilman, Inc. (dated December
11, 1990) will apply except that the scope of services, compensation and Schedule of Charges
(the latter to be used for Additional Services) are as described herein.
MFG will collect ground-water samples from the six monitoring wells for split samples to be
analyzed by the Texas Department of Health and by NET for the City. This resampling event
will be conducted after comparison of the results of the TDH analyses and the analyses done for
the City. The TDH will analyze the samples for volatile organics (Method 8240) and
base/neutrals and acid extract ables, otherwise known as semi-volatiles (Method 8270). Samples
from MW-I01 and MW-1O7 will be analyzed by NET for the full "background" list (Group 1,2,3
and 4 parameters) plus 8240 and 8270 organics. Wells MW-102, -103, -104 and -105 will be
analyzed for the 8240 and 8270 organics and the Group 3 and 4 parameters to satisfy the semi-
annual monitoring requirement for these wells. The costs for this sampling, analytical and
reporting are included in the attached Cost Estimate. The costs for laboratory analysis and
reporting for the samples collected during the intial sampling event (conducted September 30,
1991) also are included herein.
MFG will prepare for and attend two meetings in November 1991: one with the City and its
attorney and a second meeting to include the Texas Department of Health. The estimated costs
are included in the attached Cost Estimate. Other consulting services related to the Landfill will
be billed in accordance with the attached Schedule of Charges.
OTHER OFFICES IN BOULDER, COLORADO AND SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
