<br /> 78 <br /> RESOLUTION 1991 - 159 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE <br /> PLEDGE OF SECURITIES BY VICTORIA BANK & <br /> TRUST COMPANY AS COLLATERAL FOR THE <br /> CITY'S DEPOSITS: AND PROVIDING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> "fHEREAS, Sections lØ5.Ø34, lØS.Ø36 and lØS.ØS2 of the <br />State Local Government Code require the approval of the City <br />Council as to new or substitute securities pledged by the <br />City's depository bank, Victoria Bank & Trust Company, as <br />collateral for the City's deposits with such bank: and <br /> WHEREAS, Victoria Bank & Trust Company has submitted the <br />list of securities attached to this Resolution as proposed <br />collateral in accordance with the above statutes: now, <br />therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the list of securities attached to this <br />resolution, and their corresponding values, are hereby <br />approved as collateral for the City's deposits with Victoria <br />Bank & Trust Company. <br /> PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and <br />effect immediately from and after its passage. <br /> ADOPTED this the 16th day of December , 19 91. <br /> Kathy M.
