<br />shared equally by the School and City, provided however, that should <br /> <br />construction of voting signs or booths to be used within the corporate <br /> <br />limits of said City be necessary, the agency providing the labor for <br /> <br />such construction will be responsible for only one-third (1/3) of the <br /> <br />cost of materials. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />It is agreed by the parties hereto that a common ballot will be <br /> <br />used for the joint election. <br /> <br />It is agreed by the parties hereto that common ballot boxes will <br /> <br />be used for the joint election, to be provided equally by the two <br /> <br />agencies, <br /> <br />The ballot boxes holding the voted ballots for the election <br /> <br />will be delivered by the Precinct Judges to the City Secretary at the <br /> <br />City Hall, 630 East Hopkins Street, and said boxes will remain in her <br /> <br />custody except that City agrees to deliver the boxes of voted ballots <br /> <br />to School if requested for canvass of the election or in the event the <br /> <br />voted ballots are required for any court proceedings in which the <br /> <br />School may be a party. <br /> <br />City agrees to maintain custody of the ballot <br /> <br />boxes containing the voted ballots arter delivery by the School until <br /> <br />the expiration of sixty (60 days following the date of the election, at <br /> <br />which time City will dispose of the voted ballots in the manner <br /> <br />prescribed by the Texas Election Code and will return those ballot <br /> <br />boxes owned by School to the School District Office, <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />Joint returns of the election will be provided by the Central <br /> <br />Counting Station to the Mayor and School Board President and to the <br /> <br />City Secretary and School District Business Manager following the <br /> <br />tabulation. <br /> <br />The Mayor of the City and the City Secretary will maintain <br /> <br />custody of the returns until the completion of the election canvass by <br />
