<br />ARTICLE 10 <br /> <br />BASIS OF COMPENSATION <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />Owner <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />compensate <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Consultant for Services <br /> <br />provided, <br /> <br />in accordance with Article 3, Payments to the Consultant, <br /> <br />and the other terms and conditions of this Agreement, as follows: <br /> <br />10.1 BASIC COMPENSATION <br /> <br />10.1.1 <br /> <br />For <br /> <br />services, <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />described <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />Article <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />Consultant's Work Plan, compensation shall be computed as follows: <br /> <br />A <br /> <br />total sum ~ot to exceed $12,581.00 without prior written <br /> <br />authorization, <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />estimated <br /> <br />charges <br /> <br />for each task described in <br /> <br />the Work Plan, payable upon completion of each task as follows: <br />1. TASK 1 - WELL INSTALLATION AND DEVELOPMENT $6,086.00. <br />II. TASK 2 - GROUND WATER SAMPLING, <br /> <br />DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORT <br /> <br />6,495.00. <br /> <br />Owner <br /> <br />agrees to make payments to the Consultant based upon <br /> <br />itemized <br /> <br />statements <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />time and materials charges as described in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Schedule <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Charges <br /> <br />attached <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />Appendix <br /> <br />A <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />the Cost <br /> <br />Estimate section of the Consultant's Work Plan. <br /> <br />10.2 COMPENSATION FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />Authorization <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Owner of Additional Services by the <br /> <br />Consultant <br /> <br />will <br /> <br />include <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />limit <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />associated <br /> <br />fee. <br /> <br />Compensation <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Additional <br /> <br />Services will be based on the list of <br /> <br />charges <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Additional <br /> <br />Services, <br /> <br />shown <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />Appendix A, attached <br /> <br />hereto <br /> <br />and incorporated herein for all purposes and shall be billed <br /> <br />monthly. <br /> <br />-13- <br />
