<br />99 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 199Ø- 23 R <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED <br />CONTRACT WITH THE LAW FIRM OF SM'JTELLE, <br />GOODE, DAVIDSON AND TROILO FOR LEGAL <br />REPRESENTATION OF THE CITY IN THE LCRA <br />RATE CASE TO BE FILED WITH THE PUBLIC <br />UTILITY COMMISSION, AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT, AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas desires to enter <br />into a contract with the law firm of Sawtelle, Goode, Davidson <br />and Troilo to engage legal services to intervene on behalf of <br />the City in the impending LCRA Rate Case to be filed with <br />the Public Utility Commission; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the terms and conditions of the proposed <br />contract with the law firm of Sawtelle, Goode, Davidson and <br />Troilo, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein for all purposes, for its legal representation of the <br />City in the LCRA Rate Case to be filed with the Public Utility <br />Commission, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the City Manager is authorized to execute <br />this contract on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
