'i ,¡ ~.' <br /> City Manager <br /> 630 East Hopkins <br /> San Marcos, Texas 78666 <br /> XI. <br /> CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZATION <br /> This Agreement was approved by Resolution of the City Council <br /> at its Council Meeting on the 9th day of April , 1990, <br /> authorizing the City Manager to execute this Agreement on behalf of the <br /> City. <br /> XII. <br /> AUTHORIZATION BY PARKVIEW <br /> This Agreement was entered into by Parkview pursuant to authority <br /> granted by its Board of Directors on the JL day of (YJÞ¡Y , <br /> <br /> 1990, whereby one or more officers of Parkview were authorized to <br /> execute this Agreement on behalf of Parkview, a certified copy of <br /> which authorization is attached hereto as Exhibit B. <br /> XIII. <br /> SEVERABILITY <br /> In the event any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, phrase <br /> or word is held invalid, illegal or unconstitutional, the balance of <br /> this Agreement shall stand, shall be enforceable and shal1 be read as <br /> if the parties intended at all times to delete said invalid section, <br /> subsection, paragraph, sentence, phrase or word. <br /> XIV. <br /> APPLICABLE LAW <br /> This Agreement shall be construed under the laws of the <br /> State of Texas.
