<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
<br />THE CITY BY ZONING LOTS 8 AND 9, OUT OF THE A. M.
<br />RAMSEY SUBDIVISION OF 32 1/2 ACRES OUT OF THE J. M.
<br />VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO.2, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED
<br />IN VOLUME 89, PAGE 477 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS,
<br />LOCATED AT 400 AND 402 MILL STREET FROM "M" (SINGLE-FAMILY,
<br />DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO IIMR"
<br />(MOBILE HOME AND RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT) AND DECLARING AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />WHEREAS, on November 7, 1989, the Zoning Commission of the City
<br />of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to
<br />change the zoning from II Mil (Single-Family Duplex and Neighborhood
<br />Business District) to "MR" (Mobile Home and Residential District)
<br />of Lots 8 and 9, out of the A.M. Ramsey Subdivision of 32 1/2 acres
<br />of land out of the J.M. Veramendi League No.2, Hays County,
<br />Texas, located at 400 and 402 Uhland Road; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the
<br />Zoning Commission did, on November 7, 1989, consider the request and
<br />voted to approve the same and has recommended that such
<br />request be approved by the City Council of the
<br />City; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 9th day
<br />of April, 1990, regarding such request; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning
<br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos
<br />pertaining to amendments have been met; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public
<br />health, moraIs, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br />
<br />SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as described
<br />in Section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance is hereby amended to
<br />rezone the following described real property located in San Marcos,
<br />Hays County, Texas, which is presently zoned "Mil (Single-Family, Duplex
<br />and Neighborhood Business District) to "MR" (Mobile Home and
<br />Residential District):

<br />LOTS 8 AND 9, OUT OF THE A.M. RAMSEY SUBDIVISION OF 32 1/2 ACRES
<br />OUT OF THE J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO.2, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS,
<br />AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 89, PAGE 477 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED
<br />RECORDS.
<br />
<br />SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days
<br />from and after its passage and after it has been subject to
<br />reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following
<br />its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider
<br />it. If reconsidered on- April 23, 1990 it' shall be in effect ten
<br />days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not
<br />go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered or if reconsidered and
<br />approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in
<br />the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.

<br />subject to reconsideration at the next regular City Council meeting
<br />scheduled for .
