<br />0 125 <br />~ <br />'- <br />!:"'=! <br />1"\.' <br />, ORDINANCE 1990- 20 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF <br />THE CITY BY ZONING 1.00 ACRE, IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, <br />BEING A PART OF THAT 16.08 ACRE TRACT BEING DESCRIBED IN <br />BOTH THE LYDIA GLASSGOW AND THOMAS H. W. FORSITH SURVEYS, <br />SAID 16.08 ACRES BEING DESCRIBED IN VOLUME 320, PAGES <br />499-505, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS DEED RECORDS, LOCATED <br />AT 2104 RANCH ROAD 12 FROM "PD" (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) <br />TO "C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 2, 1990, the Zoning Commission of the City <br />of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to <br />change the zoning from IIPD" (Pre- Development District) to IIC" <br />(Commercial District) of 1.00 acre, located at 2104 Ranch Road 12, <br />in the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the <br />Zoning Commission did, on January 2, 1990, consider the request and <br />voted to approve the same and has recommended that such <br />request be approved by the City Council of the <br />City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on the 9th day <br />of April, 1990, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements of Appendix A, General Zoning <br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San Marcos <br />pertaining to amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the Official Zoning Map of the City, as <br />described in Section 3 of the General Zoning Ordinance, is hereby <br />amended to rezone the following tract of real property located in San <br />Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which was zoned "PD" (Pre-Development <br />District) upon its annexation to the City of San Marcos on July 28, <br />1986, to "c" (Commercial District): <br /> <br />Field notes describing 1.00 acres in Hays County, Texas, <br />being a part of that 16.08 acre tract being described in both <br />the Lydia Glassgow and Thomas H.W. Forsith Surveys, said <br />16.08 acres being described in Volume 320, Pages 499-505, <br />Hays County Deed Records, and said 1.00 acre parcel being <br />described herein as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the Southwest corner of this tract, said point <br />being S 87 degrees-27 , E, a distance of 622.71' from the <br />Southwest corner of the aforementioned 16.08 acre tract; <br /> <br />Thence, N 02 degrees-33 , E, a distance of 285.27' to an iron <br />pin, said iron pin being the Northwest corner of the herein <br />described parcel; <br /> <br />Thence, S 77 degrees-45'-12" E, a distance of 162.73' to an <br />iron pin, said iron pin being the Northeast corner of <br />the herein described parcel; <br /> <br />Thence, S 02 degrees-33 , W, a distance of 257.86' to an iron <br />pin set in the North line of Ranch Road 12, said iron pin <br />marks the Southeast corner of the herein described parcel; <br /> <br />Thence, N 87 degrees-27 , W, along the North line of Ranch <br />Road 12, a distance of 160.40' to an iron pin, said iron pin <br />being the beginning point of this description. <br />
