<br />132 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO.3 <br />TO THE CONTRACT FOR JANITORIAL <br />MAINTENANCE FOR THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 28, 1986, the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />(the City), entered into a contract (the Contract) with Gene <br />Bagwell (the Contractor) for the provision of janitorial maintenance <br />services to the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 24, 1989, the Contract was amended by <br />Amendment No.2 to exercise a two-year renewal period in <br />accordance with the provisions of the original contract; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contract was also amended by Amendment No.1 dated <br />December 30, 1988; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the Contractor have agreed to add <br />additional buildings requiring janitorial maintenance services to the <br />Contract; now, therefore, <br /> <br />The City and the Contractor hereby agree to the following <br />amendments to the Contract: <br /> <br />1. Item 2 of the Specifications of the Owner-Contractor <br />agreement, as amended, is hereby revised to include the <br />Park Patrol Building and the Airport General Aviation <br />Terminal. <br /> <br />2. The Contractor's Bid and Paragraph 2 of the Notice of Award <br />are hereby revised to change the consideration to be paid by <br />Owner to Contractor for completion of the project in <br />accordance with the contract documents to reflect: <br /> <br />$5,141.31 per month <br /> <br />$113,718.44 total revised contract amount including <br />this change <br /> <br />All other provisions of the Contract remain in full force and <br />effect. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, we, the contracting parties through our duly <br />authorized agents hereto affix our signatures. <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />By: ~ ~J~ <br />Larr D. illeYD <br />City ~Æanager <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR J~ <br /> <br />Attest: By: ./~ ~ <br />G~ne Bagwell.. <br />
